Advice & Guidance

City Health Clinic’s advice and guidance for our patients is based on information issued by The Scottish Government, Lothian Health Board, Health Protection Scotland and NHS Inform.

We have now moved into Phase 4 of reopening in line with Government guidelines.

Whilst this is a very positive step forward, we advise that we are operating under very strict regulations to keep people safe.

As a result of these restrictions we can only use 1-2 surgeries per day instead of 4 surgeries, this is to minimise footfall in the clinic, allow for social distancing and in addition appointment lenghs are longer. Because of this we are unable to see as many patients as we used to in Pre-COvid19 times.

Please note we can only see patients who book an appointment in advance, we thank you for your understanding and patience duringthese difficult times.

If you have a dental emergency please call us as early in the day as possible to enable us to assess and manage your dental care effectively, or if you wish to speak with our reception team please call us on T: 0131 228 2442 between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Please be aware that the practice door remains closed, we can only see patients who have a 'booked' appointment.

Please call us on arrival as we need to check you in by phone, and ask you a few questions prior to entry.

We thank you for your patience and tolerance in these unprecedented and difficult times.
