Advice & Guidance
City Health Clinic’s advice and guidance for our patients is based on information issued by The Scottish Government, Lothian Health Board, Health Protection Scotland and NHS Inform.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND CITY HEALTH CLINIC
ALL DENTAL PRACTICES ARE CLOSED AT THE INSTRUCTION OF LOTHIAN HEALTH BOARD DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC (COVID -19)
If you have a booked appointment, we will contact you to reschedule in advance of your appointment.
Please respond to our communications as we need to ensure that you do not travel to attend the clinic, we are closed and unable to see you.
If you wish to speak to us or have a dental emergency, please call us on
T: 0131 228 2442 between the hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
We advise that you call us as early as possible if you have a dental problem. One of our dentist's will triage you via phone consult, if you require emergency treatment and/or an onward referral to an Urgent Dental Care Centre, we need some time to arrange this for you in order to get you seen as soon as can be scheduled.
it was initially necessary to restrict the range of treatments available in urgent dental care centres, now these centres are able to expand the scope of this service to deal with a wider range of acute and urgent dental problems.
Please note: You need to contact your dental practice in the first instance to discuss your treatment need.
